I think calling Lee one of the best wrestlers in north America doesn't do him enough justice, he is one of the best in the world. his unique style, which he calls the "Taiga Style" is a perfect mixture of everything that made ROH special, the Technicality? world class, the Athleticism? Fantastic, The uniqueness around his generation is what makes him special, and that is what made 2000s Ring of Honor special, i always say that DPW is the only Promotion that feels Close to ROH, but Lee Moriarty is one of the few wrestlers that feel like they ARE Ring of honor, Nigel Picking lee wasn't that hard of a decision, The man WRESTLES like Nigel, the out of nowhere creative submissions, the Great submission defense, Just like Jon Moxley called him last night on Commentary, he is a student of the game, An A+ student, and he definitely showed that in the 30 minutes he shared with Nigel in the ring last night.

the match itself was great, it told a story of Nigel not only wrestling his rustiness in the ring, but also Moriarty, who Wrestled like Younger Nigel would, the cockiness, Buying time whenever he was on top of the scoreboard, THAT IS 2007 NIGEL IN THE RING, Nigel still did his old tricks which of course worked as always. But lee was always one step ahead, Just like Nigel was always one step ahead in his matches, i could go on and talk about the limp work and the submissions and the counter but i can't, i am always in for sick technical wrestling but this is bigger than that, this match told a story, a story of Nigel McGuinness wrestling himself, and being reborn in the ring once more, inside of Lee Moriarty.

Lee is the perfect wrestler to pass the torch on to, Nigel Giving him the Old PURE Title is deserved, Lee is a Phenomenal wrestler in his own style but he also is a student of the game, One of the few wrestlers in the world that still Honor the Honor in Ring of Honor, and he showed that he does, I still want more from Nigel i will never get tired of watching that old geezer wrestle, But if this was the Final time, The final time that London Bridge will fall, The final time that "Fuckin' in the bushes" will play in a pro wrestling arena, Hell of a way to go out, and Hell of a wrestler to pass the torch to.
