Necro Butcher vs. Low Ki (4/1/2006) {English}

"Can you Butcher the Butcher?"
Necro Butcher vs. Low Ki (4/1/2006)
A year ago in 2005, The key to butcher the Butcher was out to the world, Samoa Joe was able to KILL Necro in their all time classic, By not running and actually attacking Necro and trying to hit as many offence as possible, and trying to not give necro a Chance to strike, after stacking up win after win in IWA, Low ki was ready to take on the Butcher. Low Ki isn’t like Joe, and that difference shapes up the entire match. Where Joe crushes people with his raw power, Ki works smaller and sharper, relying on precision and timing rather than force. This isn’t Necro standing across from an unstoppable monster, it’s Necro dealing with a controlled, methodical KILLER.

Ki doesn't give Necro a chance to breath, he slips through the crowd and attacks Necro from behind From the start, and the visual.... is so fucking good. black and yellow streamers pouring into the ring while the two start FIGHTING. The match really shines once they settle into The striking and violence. Both men deliver, but Ki clearly has more tools to work with. His kicks are the centerpiece, but he mixes in dropkicks, and Especially chops that all land hard and clean. every strike sounds heavy. Even when the offense gets a little repetitive, there’s enough variation in where and how he hits to keep it interesting, Necro, on the other hand, lives and dies by his punch. Everything he does revolves around it. He throws body shots to break free from holds,

That contrast, Ki’s Perfectionism against Necro’s chaos, is what makes the match special. Ki sells Necro’s punches like they’re devastating, even rolling out to the floor after one big shot just to avoid more damage, even though he looks strong, he made Necro look so great, Necro doesn’t bleed like he usually does, but his selling is still excellent. Where the match falls short imo is in how hard it seems to be reaching. It’s laid out like an epic, just squeezed into about 20 minutes, and after the hot opening you can feel some of the energy start to fade in the middle especially in Low Ki's control, The table spot especially sticks out in a match that’s otherwise very direct. Even though the double stomp through the table and the kick-out are genuinely SICK and the match got back to it's greatness that made it special at the start, there’s just enough time in it to keep this from feeling like an all-time classic, it's one of those matches that missed out on being one of the all time greats if it was shorter

but it's still a GREAT MATCH, the Contrast between the two, the Strikes, it's really one of those "HELL YEAH" matches that sticks in your brains years after watching, one of the best "Assassin vs Monster" matches that i ever watched, with the perfect wrestlers, but the wrong Time frame.
